The last year has been exciting for us here at R53, working on very different, but very interesting projects, from track racing to Dakar, as well, as the best road supercars like the McLaren 620R or the Gordon Murray T50.

It is time to expand our fantastic team and offer three job positions:


Stores manager


Overview

The Stores manager will assume responsibility for managing inventory from incoming to outgoing goods, recording and maintaining the stock via ERP systems, prioritising of goods receipt and pick lists to Work Orders and build parts. The roles will be picking sub assembly and build kits as required to achieve production deadlines. Reporting to the Head of Operations


Key Responsibilities

• Responsible for all incoming and outgoing goods

• Support the development and implementation of materials management processes to enable company growth.

• Record and maintain stock via ERP or current company systems

• Pick subassemblies and build kits to Work orders

• Support Incoming inspection if required

• Outgoing goods packing

• Arrange shipment couriers

• Organize locations in store

Quality inspector


R53 suspension, is a leading motorsport company operating at a high-level motorsport (GT Racing, Formula E, WRC…), we have a vacancy in our busy Quality Assurance department.

If you have good mechanical and engineering knowledge with excellent attention to detail as well as a motivation for self-development and wish to work on suspension systems for top motorsport and high-performance vehicles, then we have the opportunity for you.


The role involves:

• Dimensional and visual inspection of all components used in the manufacture and assembly of suspension systems for prestige automotive and motorsport customers. Predominantly, sub-contract manufactured, precision machined components


The ideal candidate should have:

• Self-motivation and organization skills

• Excellent attention to detail

• Interpreting engineering drawings and similar specifications.

• Solid experience with hand-held and bench-top mechanical measuring equipment.

• Writing associated computerised quality reports.

• Verbal and digital communication with engineers, customers and suppliers.

• Reporting to the factory general manager.

• Confidentiality

Damper technician


Overview

R53 suspension, is a leading high performance suspension manufacturer at a high-level motorsport (GT Racing, Dakar, Formula E, Rally,…) and high performance automotive (Gordon Murray, McLaren, …), we have a vacancy for a damper technician reporting to the workshop manager

If you have good mechanical and engineering knowledge with excellent attention to detail as well as a motivation for self-development and wish to work on suspension systems for top motorsport and high-performance vehicles, then we have the opportunity for you.


The role involves:

• Sub assembly build

• New Damper build

• Damper Servicing

• Service and Repair

• Damper dyno operation

• Damper setting development/Tuning

• R&D support activities

• Test and race support

• General business upkeep


The ideal candidate should have:

• Self-motivation and organization skills

• Excellent attention to detail

• Damper build experience preferred but not essential

• Motorsport experience preferred but not essential

• Good mechanical and/or engineering skills

• IT skills- MS Office essential, SAGE is an advantage

• Passion for motorsport

• Confidentiality
